UnCommon Celebration
No Services this weekend – we’re celebrating instead!
This weekend, hundreds of us will roll up our sleeves and show western PA what it looks like when the church shows up. Roofs will get fixed. Yards will get cleared. Neighbors will get loved on. That’s UnCommon.
And when the work is done, it’s time to celebrate.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is UnCommon Weekend?
UnCommon Weekend is a church-wide serve weekend where we pause our normal weekend services to go serve people throughout our community in practical ways.
Do I need experience or special skills?
Not at all. There are opportunities for every skill level — from hands-on projects to simple acts of encouragement and hospitality.
Can kids or families participate?
Yes! Many projects are family-friendly, and we love seeing entire families serve together.
How do I nominate someone?
You can fill out the online nomination form or grab a paper form in the church lobby during weekend services.
Can I nominate myself?
Absolutely. If you or your family are going through a difficult season and could use support, we would love for you to let us know.
What kinds of projects are available?
Projects vary each year and may include yard work, painting, cleaning, minor repairs, donation packing, baking, community outreach, prayer teams, and more.
Do I have to serve all weekend?
No. There will be a variety of opportunities and time commitments available.
What should I bring?
Once projects are assigned, we’ll communicate any tools, supplies, or items needed for your specific project.
What happens if it rains?
Some outdoor projects may shift or reschedule, but many projects will continue rain or shine.
Is there a celebration service afterward?
Yes! At the end of the weekend, we gather together to celebrate stories of impact and everything God did throughout the community.
