Our Mission

The Revive & Restore Recovery Ministry at Cornerstone is here to help the hurting, and we offer a safe place of love and acceptance no matter where you have been or what you have done.  

Our purpose is to revive those who are dead in their addiction and to restore them to a life of Godliness by providing positive pathways of growth and encouragement.

We accomplish this mission through weekly large and small group meetings that utilize a twelve-step program and emphasize the power of God’s redeeming love which transforms a person into a new creation in Christ Jesus. 

There are no prerequisites to attend, only a desire to change and the admission that you are powerless to fight the addictions that ensnare you.

Our desire is to remove the shame and stigma of being involved in circumstances that sometimes are out of our control. There is no shame in asking for a helping hand.

Find Your Supporters

The Revive & Restore Recovery Ministry offers five support groups. All groups meet on Thursday evenings from 6 – 7:15 PM. You may jump in and join any group at any time.

 

Drug & Alcohol Recovery Group

This group provides pathways to growth that aim to reach and maintain drug and alcohol sobriety.

Codependency Support Group

This group provides pathways to growth that aim to address relationship imbalances where one person enables another person at the expense of themselves.

 

Sexual Integrity Support Group (Men Only)

This group provides pathways to growth that aim to encourage men to stay pure and Godly despite the temptations that abound.

Spiritual Journey Group

This group provides pathways to grow in your walk with God.

12 steps

12 Steps of Life Recovery

Work through the 12 Steps of Life Recovery and discover the path that will change your life, enrich your recovery, and bring you closer to the heart of God.

 

1. We admitted that we were powerless over our problems and that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. We came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. We made a decision to turn our wills and our lives over to the care of God.

    4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

    5. We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

    6. We were entirely ready to have God remove these defects of character.

    7. We humbly ask God to remove our shortcomings.

    8. We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

    9. We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

    10. We continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

    11. We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of his will for us and the power to carry it out.

    12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
