A Few Notes
- Your giving history is always available when you log into your account at https://cornerstonelive.elexiochms.com, click the ‘giving’ tab to view/print a statement. If you forgot your password to log in, there is a reset link.
- Thank you for your support of the mission of Cornerstone Ministries. If you indicated a designation for the use of your gift, we will honor those wishes to the best of our ability. To protect the tax deductibility of this gift, we must accept it without restriction. If we receive more contributions earmarked toward a ministry than we can apply to that ministry, we will use those funds to meet other ministry needs. Cornerstone is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity, our Federal Tax ID #25-1448650. No goods or services were provided in exchange for these contributions other than intangible religious benefits.

Utilize Your Bank’s Online Bill Pay: Most banks enable you to make one-time or recurring transactions to Cornerstone from your checking account. You can do this simply by accessing your bank account’s “bill pay” feature, and your bank mails us a check. This option has no cost to you or Cornerstone Ministries.*

Text the word ‘GIVE’ to the church text-to-give number: (724) 414 – 6926. We suggest that you save that number to your phone’s contacts.
You will receive a return text with the church giving form. Choose your fund, enter the amount and payment info, and click the button to complete.
Once you have established the payment link with the first text, any future donations can simply be the amount to that same number.

Simply open the CMConnects app. Available in Apple or Google Play stores, (search for ‘Cornerstone Ministries Connect’) and click ‘Giving’ at the bottom of the screen. This link will take you directly to the secure online giving area.
Stock

Stock Option:
Stocks, bonds, and mutual funds are great ways to give without incurring capital gains on appreciated assets. You can transfer your stock gift from your account directly to Cornerstone’s investment account. The church will liquidate the asset. If you have stock you would like to donate, and want to discuss how to make a transfer, email our office at giving@cornerstonelive.net
Donate Through Your IRA

IRA Option:
You can donate directly from your IRA using a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) or Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). The tax benefits to the donor make them a powerful tool for charitable giving and tax planning. Contact your IRA custodian/investment advisor to request a direct transfer from your IRA to Cornerstone Ministries. If you would like to donate in this manner, email us giving@cornerstonelive.net, or call the Accounting Office.
*The fees to the church for online transactions are much lower for ACH/Bank account transactions.
As an example – on a donation of $500, the fees for an ACH transaction would be $5.00, for Discover/Mastercard/Visa/Debit cards the fees would be $13.75, and for American Express $16.50. If possible, use the ACH method, so that more of your donation can to go directly towards ministry and programs.

Why Give
A Call to Obedience
God’s Word calls us to obediently tithe (give 10%) of what He gives us to do His kingdom work. Offerings given to God are gifts above and beyond our tithes. Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of Cornerstone Ministries and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach.
Giving is much more than keeping the lights on at 2200 Cornerstone Lane. It’s about worshiping God by giving back to Him a portion of what He has so graciously given to us. It’s about introducing people to Jesus and watching their lives transform through vibrant relationships with Him. Thank you for supporting what God is doing at Cornerstone!

Our Stewardship
The Church Gives Too
God provides for Cornerstone Ministries through your faithful giving. We are committed to honoring your generosity through wise stewardship, ethical business practices, and complete accountability to maintain the highest level of financial integrity. We utilize a system of internal controls, budgeting, and reporting to achieve this goal. Additionally, an independent certified public accounting firm performs an annual audit of all our finances.
As a church, we also tithe at least 10% of what is given to us to support other kingdom-minded ministries. We are committed to furthering the impact of Jesus Christ, even beyond our own doors and local community.

Common Giving Q & As
Why is it best to give to the General Fund?
Unless a special offering is taken, a gift to the General Fund is most appropriate and useful. This fund covers all budgeted ministry and church operating expenses. These items are budgeted by church staff and approved by Cornerstone’s leadership.
How do I set-up a recurring gift?
On the give now page, you’ll see the ‘My Donation’ section. Click on the ‘recurring’ tab. Enter the fund, your amount, and the frequency (ex: Weekly, Monthly, etc) of your donation. You can opt for a fixed number of donations or a specific start date with an indefinite ending. You can also choose when you would like to receive a notification email before the transaction processes each time the donation is processed.
How do I update or cancel my recurring gift?
Once you have a recurring donation schedule established, you can edit at any time. From the ‘Give Now’ page, log into your account then click on the ‘scheduled’ tab. Click the pencil icon to make changes to your donation timing, amount, or fund, or update any information such as credit card number, expiration date, or your email address.
When will my credit card or bank account be charged for a recurring gift?
Before your transaction processes on the schedule you’ve established, you will receive a notification email. If you need to make any edits, you may make changes at that time. Your donation will be processed to the payment method established.
How do I designate my gift for a specific ministry area?
If you would like your donation to be designated for a specific ministry area, use the drop-down menu on the Give Now page to make a fund selection from the choices available.
Will I receive a receipt for tax purposes?
All donors with an email in our database receive an emailed statement in mid-January. Any donors without an email address will receive a paper copy through the mail. All donors can log into their account and view their giving history at any time
How does Cornerstone Ministries use donated funds?
All contributions made to the General Fund cover the church budgeted ministry and operating expenses. Any donations to a designated fund are held in reserve until that ministry has a need. Once a donor has made a restriction on a contribution, the church is required to use that donation for its designated purpose.
